Thoughts on communication in the groups

How get better feedback ...

... when posting in the Lottery Secrets Group/The Numbers Exchange?

This is not a guide. I just think I might point out a few thoughts in regards to communication in the groups. While this all seems rather obvious sometimes a reminder might help to focus on the reasons why posts are are made. Following the rules is a given but there are other important things to consider particularly when posting requests or questions etc. in the groups.

PSC = Polite, Specific, Constructive

Be polite!

A "Please" goes a long way. It seems obvious to assume that you will get a better response by using "Could you please post a Cheat Sheet for NY? Thanks in advance!" vs. "Cheat Sheet NY". It should be also common courtesy to thank responding members for their answers. Don't forget that you might want to ask another question in the near future. People might recognize you and decide to respond or not based on previous experiences.

Be specific!

Everybody in the group (hopefully) has a life. They are not sitting around and twiddling their thumbs waiting for somebody to ask a question. So the more accurate and to the point your question or request is, the easier (and more likely) it is for another member to respond to your question. "I need numbers for tonight" is definitely not very accurate. "Can someone help me out with some numbers of the Virginia Evening drawing? TIA." might have a better chance of getting responses. Also If you are looking for a specific chart or forecast just explicitly say that. When you have a problem with a feature, no matter whether it is about understanding, and error you are getting and any other issue, accuracy is of the essence. State your membership/subscriber status with site and feature you used, what exactly happened (input/output), preferably even add a link and or screen shot to the post. Remember "Everybody in the group (hopefully) has a life." so the more clear you are with your post the faster it is for others to point out what the issue is and to help.

Be constructive!

Every group consists of people with similar interests and goals. That means that they all have their ups and downs, good days and bad days; but the idea is to share information, giving and taking, to improve the way they do things. So instead of posting a frustrated comment in regards to your current situation the best way to get responses and potential help is to explain what exactly the issue is and to provide options for people to help you. So instead of "I am not winning! (Sad Face)" a more constructive way to receive feedback would be to post something like "For some reason I can just not find the right system to help me here in Texas Pick3. Currently I am primarily looking into due key charts and numbers choices without much success. Could someone point me into a different direction or provide new ideas what to look for? Thanks in advance for your help. (Thumbs up!)". While nothing guarantees responses you can easily see the difference here and it seems highly likely that more suggestions will come out of the second approach.

Thanks for you time and I am looking to hearing from you in one of the groups.
